Echo Ceramics Los Angeles Location provides monthly memberships for clay artists with experience.  As a member you will enjoy full access to the studio seven days a week, access to wheels, hand-building area with slab roller and a North Star extruder, and Cone 10 glazes.  Chucks, water buckets, and other necessities are provided. We carry many types of clay from Aardwark, which are available for sale at the studio. We sell Amaco underglazes and cone 06 and cone 5 glazes, tools, etc. We do reduction, oxidation, low fire, overglaze, saggar, and raku firing.

Echo Ceramics Westlake Location provides monthly memberships for clay artists with experience.  As a member you will enjoy full access to the studio seven days a week, access to wheels, hand-building area with slab roller and a North Star extruder, and Cone 5 glazes, mixed at the studio. Chucks, water buckets, sponges, and other necessities are provided. We carry many types of clay from Aardwark, which are available for sale at the studio. We sell Amaco underglazes and cone 06 and cone 5 glazes, tools, etc. We do cone 5 oxidation, low fire, overglaze and saggar firing.

Membership: $185 a month. Member have 24 hour access to the studio. Personal shelf for work-in-progress will be provided based on availability. There's a small firing fee based on weight of the ware. We charge $1 per pound for all types of firing except bisque (bisque is included). Please note that if you want to bring a friend to share your clay experience you can do so for a $45 fee per day (does not include clay or firing).

Class fee for members is $170 for any 8 week session.

Private lesson with any of our instructors is $60 per person per hour for members and students. $80 for non-members. Please refer to the services page for more information about non-members.

Membership requirements: prior experience, photos or samples of your work, initial three months commitment to the studio (you pay monthly). Credit card information will be held on file for all members.

Each member receives an entry code to access the studio .

Note:  We reserve the right to deny service to anyone to insure harmoniuos working atmosphere for our members and students.

Firing Fee for Non-Members:

Pottery firing, one firing, per cu. ft: $35 minimum ($0.02 per cu. inch)
Sculpture firing, per cu. ft.: $35 - $45 minimum (Depends on thickness)
All outside firing prices do not include glaze or glazing.
All outside firing minimum is one cubic foot.

Private lessons: $80 per hour for one potter, $130 for two people, $45 per person for groups of 3 or more.

Prices for special projects, such as tile or pottery making, vary depending on labor and materials used.  Please call us for more information.

Firing Fee for Studio Members:

Low fire/Saggar/Luster/Raku firing (1 lb minimum) $1.00 per pound.
Raku Workshop/Safety Class:  $60.00
Class with membership (any session) $170.

One day membership: $65 per person (does not include clay and firing, only use of the studio for the full day: wheel throwing and/or glazing).
